Kaleidoscape
This piece was commissioned by the National Portrait Gallery as part of the exposition "MySpace, portraits & places" on display from October 2007 to March 2008.
My colleague Michael Campbell and me participated as developers in this project
Visitors were invited to play with the Kaleidoscape and make their own portrait
By rolling the wheel the rendering changes and by pressing the button on the side animage is captured, stored and previewed on the screen on the other side of the wall
After a moment, random photos from the archive are displayed back, allowing the imageto be shared with others visitors
